Delete a Cheers Account

Delete an accessible account

Sign in to Cheers, open Settings - Account, choose Delete account, and complete the recent-authentication confirmation. The control is available in the web, macOS, and iOS apps.

If you cannot sign in

Email tocheers@icloud.com from the address associated with the account. Do not send a password, OAuth code, access token, recovery code, private key, or provisioning profile.

What deletion does

Deletion revokes active sessions, device registrations, and linked identity credentials; anonymizes the profile; disables owned bots; and transfers or archives shared spaces. Historical messages may remain attributed to "Deleted User" to preserve other participants' conversations. Encrypted backups expire through normal rotation, subject to legal requirements.
